With many barriers affecting access to treatment by members of diverse ethnic and racial groups there have been many foundations and resources that can now help to provide the financial assistance to ensure that more people get therapy services.
211 community Resources
Local 211 specialists can help with virtually any need you might face, but the majority of requests that 211s receive are for essential needs like food and shelter. In 2022, 211 specialists made:
4.8 million connections to help to reduce and prevent housing insecurity and homelessness.
1.6 million connections to healthcare information and resources including prescription payment assistance, substance use treatment programs, COVID-19 support, and mental health services.
2.4 million connections to help to reduce hunger and food insecurity.
2.6 million connections to utilities assistance.

Arizona Helping hands
Arizona Helping Hands is the largest provider of essential needs to the 14,000+ children in foster care in Arizona, and They rely on the generosity of their volunteers and donors to deliver their programs. Together, they served more than 4,000 children through our Basic Needs program in 2021. If you currently have a foster child or someone you know Arizona helping hands can provide you with everything needed to help take care of the child.

This Therapy Assistance Program provides financial support for approximately 2-6 months of therapy sessions with a licensed mental health professional. Recipients can work with a current licensed mental health provider or one of the therapist the Program partners with.
Hope Foundation
This Mental Health Foundation believes therapy is for everyone. They seek to create a better world by removing barriers to therapy so individuals can make progress emotionally and break cycles of destruction for themselves, their families and their communities.
